Cabin fever set in over Christmas and with Epping Forest well ridden already a decision was made to head to Swinley Forest and hit the trails there. We teamed up with a member of BOB mtb club who acted as our guide. Riding some classic trails, The Corkscrew, Labyrinth, Baby maker (don’t ask), tank traps and many more. Its a regular on the Gorrick calender and we can see why. Great riding even if the snow was making things a little more lively than expected.
Points to note, If you dont know where you going linking the trails can be tricky so try and get as much info as possible, There are a couple of clubs that ride the Forest so could be worth trying to link with those guys.
